Media Interactive 3D animated web application Website Web Design Contact peter@biddulph.org I developed Event Horizon to present multiple layers of background animations using a parallax effect to create a sense of depth and relative motion; discrete animated foreground elements are added to complete the theme.
The content is displayed as a series of 3D animated cards which may be clicked to present a full screen display of any type of content including video.
Event Horizon can be adapted to display any themed and animated content.

The Fall of Rome
Media Limited edition Unicorn Froot Loops Cereal Box, Party lights Dimensions 330 x 240 x 90 mm Price NFS My work is a commentary on my experience of watching the world trying to make sense of its paradoxes and ironies. It attempts to expose the distance between what we see and know, and the tenuous connections and links that help construct our personal realities and identities. In an age where the bulimic consumption of experience and knowledge saturates our very being my work seeks to remind us all of the fundamentals and fragilities of what makes us human.

Flow
Media Lumina Porcelain, transparent glaze Dimensions H: 16.0 x 24.5 cms Price $350 Website http://www.ceramicdesign.org Contact peter@biddulph.org This porcelain vessel Flow was thrown on the wheel and altered. The thin walls of the form were taken to the point of collapse (and some pieces did), but this work retained its broad overhanging curve through a firing to 1280°C. The exterior surface is unglazed hand polished porcelain with the mattness contrasting with the high gloss interior.

A Minute Passed
Media glass, timber, led lighting, acrylic paint & screen-print ink Dimensions 1000 x 1060 x 140mm Price POA Whether working with my frequent collaborator - FS Helfisch - or pursuing my independent creative endeavours, I have almost always worked with the manipulation of light (my primary creative field is photo-media). With abundant potential for creating seductive, dramatic, surreal, theatrical, threatening and/or intimate atmospheres, it is little wonder that artists and audiences alike can be easily engrossed in the moody evocativeness possible when playing with light. That is certainly so for me.

My concerns about these issues and more specifically loss of animal species and habitat are posed in an abiotic garden, Atrium.
LED light is an extension of my practice into electronic resources to emphasise current environmental concerns.

Shadows and Light
Media Acrylic on Plywood Dimensions 450mm x 330mm x 125mm Price Sold Contact geonetcg@ozemail.com.au This series of works was made to progress my understanding of colour and its relationship to form. The structure of the forms is enlightened by my interest in geometry and crystallography. However, the aspect that most fascinates me is the illusion of spatial dimension created solely by the tonal variation associated with reflectance of light. Thus within a single hue (colour) any number of subtle colour variations may be perceived.

Dolichocephalic Shadows
Media Stainless steel wire, enamel paint Dimensions Various Price $120 each (3 pieces). Lights not included. Website www.aileentimbrell.com "The meeting with oneself is, at first, the meeting with one’s own shadow. The shadow is a tight passage, a narrow door, whose painful constriction no one is spared who goes down to the deep well. But one must learn to know oneself in order to know who one is." (Carl Jung)
"Turn your face towards the sun
Let the shadows fall behind you
Don't look back, just carry on
And the shadows will never find you"

Superegg
Media Aluminium, used coffee capsules Dimensions 2038mm(H) x 1463mm(W) Price $8000 Website www.jacoroeloffs.com Contact jaco@jacoroeloffs.com Superegg represents the rapid multiplying of single use coffee capsules, which symbolises human convenience and its impact on our environment. The capsules are arranged into a new pattern, from random to perfectly spaced lines. This gives a new perspective and the opportunity to peruse our waste and lead us to rethink our recycling habits. Superegg is a unique shape and the message about our environment is positive and impactful.
